Arnerich Massena, an investment firm based in Portland, Oregon, with $7.78 billion, has appointed Reegan Rae as chief executive.

Rae, who has been with the firm for nearly a decade and most recently led its wealth management division, will serve in this role alongside co-CEO Bryan Shipley. 

The announcement comes as the firm's founder Tony Arnerich, who was also a co-CEO, is moving to focus on his family and venture capital firm, 3x5 Partners. He will continue to serve clients through the end of this year in a senior advisor role. 

Shipley, who has been a co-CEO for over a year and has served as co-chief investment officer for four years, will now also assume the role of sole CIO. 

Prior to her new post, Rae served as managing director, senior investment advisor, and principal, working with individual investors, as well as endowments and foundation clients.
